The Schultz Creative, founded in 2016 by Carl Schultz, is a dynamic video production house with a clear mission: bridging the gap between content and brands. Our founder, Carl, brings a wealth of experience from his work on big-budget television shows and a solid education in marketing.
Like all great ideas, it took time for The Schultz Creative to take flight. During this period, Carl continued his mission by collaborating with agencies and production houses to create numerous Advertiser Funded Programmes (AFPs), commercials, and documentaries. However, the COVID pandemic necessitated a shift in our business model.
Recognising that the traditional video agency model often stifles creativity and hampers brand success in budget-scarce environments, The Schultz Creative embarked on a new journey. We transformed into a full-blown production house that not only serves agencies but also accommodates brands directly, eliminating the complexities associated with traditional agencies.
This distinctive approach has resonated with national brands that were previously deemed “too small” for traditional agencies yet too big for a one-person operation to handle effectively.
Today, we proudly stand as a growing video production house catering to major national and international brands through their agencies. Additionally, we directly support smaller national brands with a comprehensive range of services. Furthermore, we develop and produce unscripted entertainment and factual television, showcasing African-developed shows to the international market.
